Our Process

Our Process - Begin by meeting with client. Step 1 - Discuss Item. Step 2 - Research & Development. Step 3 - Produce small scale sample for testing. Step 4 -  Is this what you want? If No go back to step 2, Research and Development. If yes, go to Step 5 - Pricing. Step 6 - Agree to item? If Yes Launch, if no go back to step 1 and repeat all steps.

Quality Assurance & Food Safety at English Bay

Our top priority is to meet the standards expected by our Customers and to fulfill our mission to provide the highest quality products in our 50,000 square foot accredited building is of the upmost priority. Our raw ingredients are verified for quality on a daily basis. Finished blends are prepared according to package directions and baked off, or tested to ensure the upmost accuracy and quality.

Our highly trained staff, along with policies and procedures put forth to ensure that our process exceed the standards and meet the certifications expected industry-wide.

Our plant holds the following certifications:

Holding the certifications for SQF practitioner and HACCP means being able to implement and commit to producing safe, quality food as per legislation and industry standards through QA controls, checks and procedures.

Quality Checks: In-house consistency tests – brix, pH, viscosity, appearance and all other organoleptic tests for taste, sight, smell and texture. Tests are performed on the dry baking mixes, iced tea, hot chocolate, chocolate bars, and chocolate products

Co-Packing Products

We provide complete turn-key solutions. English Bay Blending and Fine Chocolates co-packs supplied bulk, dry ingredients, such as cocoa powder into tins or custom rice blends into plastic containers. Our full service operation can handle the process from co-packing through to distribution of your products to your established supply chain.
